GENERAL RULES TO BE FOLLOWED BY STUDENTS AND PARENTS
The school diary should be brought to the school on all working days, and parents should check the diary of their ward everyday.
Read through the diary carefully. Every page of it has information specifically meant for you. You may note down your engagements such as school meetings, homework, exam timetable, portion and other activities in the diary.
Punctuality and regular attendance are of utmost importance.
The First bell will ring at 9.00 a.m. and the assembly begins at 9.15 a.m. All students should be present for morning assembly. The school gates will be closed at 10.00 a.m. Parents should leave the campus immediately after they leave their wards in the school.
Students are not allowed to take leave without prior permission from the school authorities.
If you are absent or late to school on any day, make the entries on the pages provided for this purpose. The student can enter the class only with the permission of Principal/Vice Principal. A leave letter has to be produced. In case the student is absent for any examination, it is the duty of the parent to inform the Principal.
Classrooms provide healthy environment for learning. Hence keep your place clean and tidy. Absolute silence must be maintained In the school building throughout the day.
Do not leave the classroom in between the periods to ease yourself or to drink water. The intervals provided for this are long enough.
Utmost importance should be given for cleanliness and hygiene. Parents should take care to send their wards in neatly washed are ironed uniforms, polished shoes, with hair and nails neatly trimmed. Girls should wear two plaits.
Students should bring a napkin and a spoon along with the lunch. Parents should send the lunch along with the student in the morning. Bringing lunch by the parents during school hours should be avoided.
Take pride in keeping the school and the surroundings clean and beautiful. Do not spill ink on the floor, furniture and walls. Any damage caused to the school property, will be severely dealt with.
The conduct and discipline of the students in and out of the school will be viewed by the authorities of the school. Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, neglecting homework, disobedience, disrespect to the members of staff and ragging are reasons sufficient for the dismissal of the student from the school.
Books and other stationeries items such as pen, pencil, ruler, eraser, geometry box etc., should e brought according to the timetable or as per the instructions given by the teachers.
Students are not allowed to keep money, mobile phones, iPods, walkman, credit cards and other electronic equipments with them. In case they bring any such items, they will be confiscated and will not be returned. In the interest of general safety, students are prohibited from wearing goldjewellery.
Students should speak only in English in the school premises, except in language classes.
Fees has to be paid on the dates specified. If the fee is not paid within the specified date the student's name will be removed from the roll. An amount of Rs. 250 has to be paid for readmission.
Parents should attend PTA meetings regularly and sign the report card and return it to the class teacher on the specified date.
If a student indulges in any kind of malpractice in the examination hail, he/she will be suspended.
All the above rules and regulations are framed in order to inculcate good behaviour and to achieve academic excellence.
